The Union H.S. Renegade Regiment’s parade performance in Walt Disney World is scheduled for Saturday, December 30, at 2:30pm in the Magic Kingdom Theme Park.
2023 Orlando trip packing list
This list is to help you pack – it’s not necessarily a required list of things to bring. Please limit yourself to one suitcase and one carry-on (backpack, duffle, sling, etc).
(NOTE: school dress code still applies while traveling with the organization.)
🌤️ Orlando Weather Forecast: Highs in Mid-60s, and Lows in Mid-40s to Low-50s. 🌤️
CLOTHING:
Bus / Travel Wear - (2 overnights on bus)
Sweats, Sweatshirt / Hoodie, PJs, Change of Undergarments, etc.
Slides / crocs / birks / flip-flops, etc.
Day Wear - (5-6 days in town and touring the theme parks)
Comfortable / casual clothes (t-shirts, jeans, shorts, etc.)
Rep the U
Comfortable / durable walking shoes and extra pairs of socks.
(Be sure to bring enough undergarments to swap out - at least 8 pairs)
Beach / Swim Wear
Bathing suit + beach towel + appropriate cover between the water and the hotel room / bus, etc.
Open toed shoes for quick on/off (slides / crocs / birks / flip-flops, etc)
Beware of Man O’ War in the cold water.
Performance Wear
Big URR member shirt
Black member shorts
Black sliders
Long black socks
Black marching shoes
Show shirt (for Jan 3 workshop + day at Universal Studios)
Guard
per Miss. Hubbard for parade perfornance
For Jan 3 Dance Workshop: black basics + dance shoe or tennis shoe
FOR THE BUS:
Pillow / blanket
Snacks - please be sure all drinks are secured by a screw top lid
Napkins, wipes, hand sanitizer, etc.
Mini toiletry bag for easy access of hygienic products on the road
Toothbrush + toothpaste, skin care, etc.
Headphones, chargers, and any additional electronic accessories
Entertainment
Laptop / Ipad, books, homework, etc.
DVD’s. (Be sure movies are PG-13, PG, or G and appropriate for all viewers.)
PERSONAL GROOMING / HYGIENE:
Toothbrush + toothpaste
Deodorant
Shampoo / conditioner + body wash
Comb / brush + any hair care products
Skin care products + any makeup / cosmetics
Any other personal hygiene items
FOR THE PARKS:
Backpack / sling bag / tote bag
Sunscreen
Poncho (possible rain on the weather forecast for some days of our stay)
Water bottle

Phone & charger cord, adapter plug, portable charger

First aid / meds
Prescription Meds will be handled by the assigned chaperone as necessary
OTC Meds can only be given to a student under these circumstances:
Med form is checked for permission AND UBPC Exec or Staff Member give approval
Parent Permission given directly to the chaperone
All over the counter medications distributed must be logged in the First Aid Chat
