WHAT STUDENTS NEED TO KNOW
Concert Uniform attire is REQUIRED for the mandatory upcoming band performances on Friday, April 9 (Symphonic Band & Wind Ensemble) and Monday, May 10 (all 1st and 2nd Hour band ensembles).
All 1st and 2nd Hour Band students who don’t yet have a concert band uniform need to register for a fitting session.
Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors: Your uniform is VERY LIKELY still at home since last school year. It is very important to try on your uniform ASAP to be sure it fits. You will need to sign up for a fitting only if you need a different sized piece(s) of the uniform.
Guys: remember that the tuxedo pants are adjustable at the waist.
Remember that hemming the bottom of pants is your responsibility (tux pants for guys, palazzo pants for the ladies).
Hemming can be done professionally by a tailor, or at home by someone who knows how to sew.
Worst case: the hems can be pinned.
Do NOT cut off the extra material at the bottom of the pant leg.
The marching band uniform is REQUIRED for the mandatory upcoming band performance on Friday evening, April 23. However, additional fittings for this uniform will not take place until the Dress Rehearsal on the evening of April 22.
