McAlister joins faculty

Union Bands is pleased to welcome Ashley McAlister to the full-time team of band director faculty, effective the summer of 2022. Mrs. McAlister brings a wealth of classroom experience at various levels, as well as, qualified experience in the marching arts. Mrs. McAlister has previously served in part-time roles with the Union Bands, and we are proud to announce her in a new elevated role. Ashley resides in the Tulsa area with her husband Will, who is an Union 8th grade center faculty member & a part time Union Bands teacher, and their young daughter. Congratulations Mrs. McAlister!

Mr & Miss Union Finalists

Union Bands congratulates two of its very own members Shaun Riggins and Destiny Reyes on being named top 10 finalists for 2022 Mr.& Miss Union, which is among the highest honors for which a Union High School student can be recognized.

Shaun is a senior French horn & mellophone player, and serves on the Renegade Regiment’s executive leadership team as Brass Executive. Destiny is a senior flute player who also serves on the Renegade Regiment’s executive leadership team as Lead Drum Major. Reyes is a 2022 Oklahoma All-State band member.

Concessions Clean-Up

Special shout-out to the crew of volunteers who sacrificed their time to make the NEW Union Bands Concessions spotless after the conclusion of the Union Football season. Led by UBPC Concession director John Hayes, this team didn’t mind getting dirty for the sake of making sure our awesome facility is well cared for!
