UHS Bands Mid-February Update

🏀BASKETBALL SEASON CONCLUDES

Thank you to all UHS Band students for participating as part of the Pep Bands for recent varsity home basketball games!  The final game of the season is tomorrow night, Fri Feb 14.  Pep Band ‘D’ students: please arrive by 6pm wearing your black Union Bands member shirt.

→ 9th Grade NBDA members: be sure to check out all the details you need to know for this weekend’s clinic and concert. In particular, make certain to plan for lunchtime (bring a lunch or $ for the mall food court).

It’s Union Redhawks Basketball Season!  Each Union H.S. Band student has been assigned to participate in two games. The season continues this week with games on Tues Feb 4 (Pep Band ‘D’), Thu Feb 6 (Pep Band ‘A’).  and Fri Feb 7 (Pep Band ‘B’).  The season concludes NEXT WEEK with Pep Band ‘C’ serving on Tues Feb 11 and Pep Band ‘D’ serving on Fri Feb 14.   See the full schedule of games, policies, procedures, and the roster of student game assignments here: www.unionbands.com/basketballpepbands

‘FOOTLOOSE’: Union’s All-School Musical This Week 🎭

Join in on the entertainment when Union presents its Annual All-School Musical performance this week!  The 2025 production of ‘Footloose’ features the talents of scores of Union students, including several Union Bands members as participating performers. UHS Bands Late-January Update

RR MEMBERS: LAST CHANCE TO REQUEST 2024 BOA CERTIFICATES  ⚠

Bands of America provides official certificates of participation to all students who perform at their events.  Upon request by 2024 Renegade Regiment student members, the certificate(s) will be printed on-site at Union, featuring a color print on cardstock material.  Certificates will be included in an envelope customized for the member, which will be distributed in the first part of the spring semester.  Certificates will be printed for only those members who submit a request.  The deadline to request is TONIGHT Mon, Jan 27. Click here to request: https://www.cognitoforms.com/UnionBands/RR2024MemberRequestForBOAEventCertificates

RR 2025: WINTER TRAINING ❄

Off-season strength conditioning and visual skills maintenance training begins this week and continues through the semester. Members intending to participate in the 2025 Renegade Regiment should plan to attend!

STUDENTS: Water jugs that have been left in the band building hallway over the past few months will be thrown away on Fri Jan 31. Please take a moment to see if yours is currently located in the hallway and take it home unless you prefer it be placed into the trash.
