Support My Season is still going on!

Where does the membership money go?

The membership dollars go in to the UBPC general fund.  This account is used to fund various expenses that we do not want to have to charge in regular student fees.

What do the UBPC members do?

UBPC members are mostly parents that want the best band experience for their students.  The band parent/UBPC member experience is different for everyone, depending on the amount of time each person has available to commit.  Generally speaking, members volunteer, attend UBPC meetings, fundraise, watch practices together, help with special events, travel with the band, chaperone on trips, provide hospitality for judges and other events, make friends with other parents and cheer on the band.  UBPC members are there to answer questions (especially for 1st year marching students – yikes!) and support you when your student graduates (try not to think about it – it will be here before you know it!)

Some companies will match or donate if you volunteer! Don’t hesitate to ask! Some of our band parents have received hundreds of dollars in donations just by asking!

we need you!

We all have one thing in common: we love our students!

Check out our volunteer form - there are so many opportunities for you to get involved on any level!

2024 Renegade Regiment Represents Well in St. Louis

The 2024 Union H.S. Marching Band competed at the Bands of America Super-Regional Championship in St. Louis on Friday-Saturday, October 25-26, held at the Dome at America’s Center. With a strong preliminary performance on Friday, the Renegade Regiment advanced to the finals on Saturday night, wowing the crowd with skill, power, and color with their production “The Shape of U”. Union placed 11th in a field of 70 competing bands.

The performers & staff would like to thank the dozens of volunteers for their sacrifices in support of Union’s competitive season. It takes a team of coordinators, chaperones, uniforms workers, props/equipment workers, first aid specialists, photographers, food servers, truck drivers, and many others to bring the Regiment to life every time it travels & performs.

The Renegade Regiment continues its competitive season on Saturday, November 2 at the OBA State Championship held at BAHS, and on Fri-Sat, Nov 15-16 in Indianapolis at the Grand National Championship.
