TCC LESSONS

Juniors and Seniors who aren't already studying with a private lesson teacher but interested in taking private lessons should consider opportunities at Tulsa Community College. TCC employs a faculty of qualified music educators who serve students in the private lessons setting. 16 lessons per semester, administered once weekly, in half-hour durations for non-majors (recommended for most students) or hour durations for music majors (not recommended for most students, due to extensive additional requirements), all for the price of a semester's tuition.

If a student happens to be enrolled in other TCC classes between 3-6 credit hours, he/she may be eligible for an A.C.E. ("attend college early") tuition waiver, available for students on a first come first-served basis.

Concurrent enrollment at TCC is open to Juniors (with a GPA of 3.5 or higher, or a 21 on the ACT) and Seniors (with a GPA of 3.0 or higher, or a 19 on the ACT). Sophomores may be eligible on a case-by-case basis, but must work through the "Counselors Corner".
