STUDENT ITINERARY

Students will arrive at UHS campus already dressed in concert attire. Require: all-black shoes & long black socks (guys uniform).

BRING / PACK

• Sack Lunch, Snacks

• Instrument & Accessories (mouthpiece, mutes, reeds)

• Music / Music Folder

• Phone / Battery Pack

SCHEDULE

• 8:45am Building Open

• 9:00am Rehearsal

• 9:30am Load Buses

• 9:45am Depart for Bartlesville H.S.

• 10:45am Arrive Bartlesville H.S.

• SYMPHONIC BAND

  • 11:00am Attend Guthrie Symphonic Band & Wind Ensemble Concerts

  • 12:00pm Lunch break in lobby or outdoors

  • 12:40pm Prepare for Warm-Up (get instruments)

  • 1:00pm Warm-Up – Upstairs Band Room or On Stage

  • 1:30pm Performance

  • Transition to Clinic Room Immediately Following Performance

  • 2:05pm Clinic with Guest Adjudicator – Orchestra Room

  • 2:50pm Jolesch Photography Individual Photos

  • 3:10pm Case instruments & Load Buses

  • 3:30pm Depart for Tulsa

  • 4:30pm Arrive UHS & Unload

• WIND ENSEMBLE

  • 11:00am Attend Guthrie Symphonic Band & Wind Ensemble Concerts

  • 12:00pm Lunch break in lobby or outdoors

  • 12:30pm Attend Broken Arrow Symphonic Band Concert

  • 1:00pm Prepare for Warm-Up (get instruments)

  • 1:30pm Warm-Up – Upstairs Band Room

  • 2:00pm Performance

  • Transition to Clinic Room Immediately Following Performance

  • 2:35pm Clinic with Guest Adjudicator – Orchestra Room

  • 3:20pm Jolesch Photography Individual Photos

  • 3:40pm Case instruments & Load Buses

  • 4:00pm Depart for Tulsa

  • 5:00pm Arrive UHS & Unload

OTHER INFO

• The highest standard of concert etiquette, whether on stage or in the audience, is the expectation for this event.

• No food or drink other than bottles of water will be allowed in the Bartlesville PAC.  

STUDENTS TAKING MOCK-AP TEST

• Change into Concert Attire after taking the test.

• Plan ahead for eating your lunch before departure or on the bus.

• Your bus will depart UHS at Noon.

At this time it’s our understanding that the performances are free and open to the public, however seating may be limited.
