SUMMER ACTIVITIES
Parents and Students, enjoy your breaks this summer, but please stay in touch with your teams, groups and sections. Lots of work goes on over the summer as we get better and get ready for a competitive marching season. Please watch your emails, texts, REMINDs, and GroupMe messages for important information. Our student leaders are relentless in their desire to make us the best we can be. Let’s support them in every way we can.

A NOTE FROM FEED THE BAND:
Food Allergies/Dietary Restrictions
It is our desire to take great care of your student at all times, and we want to make sure they always have safe food to eat at every band snack and meal. In order for us to accommodate a food allergy or dietary restriction of any kind (this includes vegetarians/vegans, and those who follow religious guidelines regarding food, but should not be used for foods that your child simply doesn’t like) you MUST LOG IN TO CHARMS TO LET US KNOW. If you have not indicated your child’s special dietary needs in CHARMS, we have no way of knowing and will not have alternative foods for them.
*If your child has a peanut allergy, please indicate in CHARMS if they can/cannot eat meals from Chick-fil-A. Chick-fil-A uses peanut oil in their fryers.
For example, FOOD ALLERGIES: All Tree Nuts/Peanuts, cannot eat Chick-fil-A.
To update information in CHARMS, log in to your student’s account. From the HOME page, click on the icon that says UPDATE INFO. Once on the STUDENT INFO page, fill in the box next to FOOD ALLERGIES. Be sure to click the green UPDATE button when you are finished.
If your child has an allergy that requires special attention, please feel free to contact Katie Geier, UBPC Food Allergy Coordinator, at foodallergies@unionbands.com to discuss your concerns.

Chris Hall, UBPC Photographer is looking to put together a team to help photograph and/or video rehearsals, performances, and everything Union Bands does. Renegade Regiment Volunteer Signup

We want to be our best, and to do that, we have to support our program with the best volunteer effort. Your directors, staff, and UPBC officers work tirelessly to enable and elevate and we will find a way that you can contribute your gifts, talents and efforts to our students' success. You have something to give, and we can use all the help we can get.
Our volunteer interest survey is a great way to connect to the needs we have. We love for people to raise their hand and step forward to be part of something bigger than themselves. None of these volunteer tasks are accomplished alone, we expect to help each other do this as a team, and everyone is supported, guided, and backed up by other experienced volunteers and UPBC Board Members. We love new people!
