2023 "MEET THE REGIMENT": R.R. FAMILY PERFORMANCE

SCHEDULE

  • 7:00pm

    • Student rehearsal concludes

    • Stadium gates open

    • Families / sections gather for picnic dinner on the concourse

    • Pre-Order Meal HERE

  • 8:00pm Performance begins in stadium

  • UBPC Resources available following the performance

We are looking forward to seeing you all on Friday evening for our annual Meet the Regiment Event!  Part of the fun is a family picnic with your sections, so plan to pack a supper or skip the drive-through or turning on your oven in this August heat, and pre-order a Chick-Fil-A box meal through UBPC!

MEAL DETAILS

  • Boxed meals are $8.00 and include 8 chicken nuggets or an original Chick-Fil-A sandwich, potato chips, a chocolate chip cookie, and a bottle of water.

  • Boxed salads are $9.00 and include a garden salad with grilled chicken and choice of Ranch or Italian dressing, and a bottle of water.   

  • Pre-purchased online ordering is the only method to place an order.

  • STUDENTS: be sure to check with your parents before ordering, so as not to duplicate the meal order. 

  • ORDER/PAY HERE before Tuesday August 15 at midnight!

  • Cheer enthusiastically but not obnoxiously

    • (once per student) are allowed during 2nd Quarter, Halftime, and 3rd quarter.

    • Students may not leave the bleachers alone; must have a buddy for the restroom break.

  • Post-Game: (approx. 10:00pm) 

    • Alma Mater performed. Closing announcements, dismissal.

    • Exit Bleachers

    • Load Trucks and Buses

    • All students must be picked up from campus or have departed campus by 11:30pm

      • Parent drivers picking up student riders: please plan to pick-up at the North drive-up, via the traffic signal at 66th & Mingo.

RR hosts 2022 Renegade Review Marching Band Championship Event

Though not an actual competitive performance, the Renegade Regiment students are heavily involved with hosting and performing at Union's own Renegade Review on Saturday, October 8, 2022. 

EVENT WORKERS

Volunteer report times throughout the day vary; check in for your shift at the Bus Loop Lobby.

ATTIRE

Event attire

When on campus all students should be wearing the Big-U/RR shirt, Union Bands shirt, or the Renegade Review event t-shirt.

Rehearsal attire

Rehearsal attire for winds/percussion: red member shorts + black Big U/RR member shirt
Performance

SCHEDULE: REHEARSAL & PERFORMANCE

REHEARSAL

  • 3:15pm  Report to UHS band area. Brass / WW / Battery get instrument and report to Track Field. Guard report to Track Field. Pit remains in BR1.

  •  3:30pm  Brass / WW / Battery warm-up & rehearse at the Track Field. 

  • 4:15pm  Students at the Track Field proceed to the northwest corner entrance to the stadium.

  • 4:45pm  Prelims awards conclude. Stadium clears. Set up for rehearsal. 

  • 6:00pm Rehearsal concludes. Stow equipment.

PERFORMANCE

GAMEDAY ITINERARY

  • 3:45pm  Box truck loading 

  • 4:00pm  Meal Served (Chick-Fil-A sandwich, chips, fruit, cookies)

  • 4:20pm  Load buses (for this trip, students who usually ride Buses #1 & 2 will ride on Bus #1 , those usually on Buses #3 ,4,5 will ride on  Bus #2)

  • 4:30pm  Depart UHS for Norman

  • 6:45pm  Arrive, Unload, Move into bleachers.

  • 7:00pm  Kick-Off

  • HALFTIME Snack served

  • Approx 10:00pm load trucks, load buses

  • Approx 10:15pm  Depart Norman for UHS (pending game time ending)

  • Approx 12:30am  Arrive UHS, unload trucks

SPECTATOR INFORMATION

  • Directions to Mustang High School School

    • Address: 906 S. Heights Dr. Mustang, OK 73064

    • Driving Directions From Mustang Road: Proceed south past Hwy 152 and turn West (R) onto Juniper Drive. Buses.

  • Spector Parking

    • Spectator may park in any of the lots located on the Southwest and Northwest Corners of the stadium near the home side of the stadium.

    • Additional overflow parking is available on all sides of Horizon Intermediate School, located just west of the football stadium.

    • Special Assistance parking will be located in the lot on the Southwest Corner of the stadium.

    • Trucks and vehicles essential to the bands operation will be allowed to park in the band parking lot. All other must proceed to the spectator parking areas.

    • FULL DAY ACCESS (Admission for both Prelims & Finals)

      • Adult Admission (Full Day Access) - $15

      • Student, Military, Senior Citizen Admission (Full Day Access) - $10

      • Child Admission-Ages 5 & under Admission - Free
